Your Syncron subscription does not include Meta's WhatsApp message fees — nobody's does. Meta bills those separately, to you, on your own card. Here is exactly what is free, what is charged, and roughly what it comes to for a Malaysian property agency.
Syncron's monthly fee covers the platform: the AI that qualifies your leads, agent routing, follow-ups, the dashboard and support. Meta charges separately for the messages themselves.
That bill goes straight from Meta to you, on the card attached to your own WhatsApp Business account. We don't resell it, mark it up, or take a cut. It's the same reason your WhatsApp number and Meta Business account are registered in your name, not ours — you own them, and if you ever leave Syncron, you keep them.
The part most agencies don't expect: for how Syncron actually works, the large majority of messages cost nothing at all. The entire qualification conversation — every question the AI asks and every answer it gives — is free. Here's why.
Since 1 July 2025 Meta charges per message delivered, not per conversation. What decides the price is who started it and how recently.
The moment a lead messages you, a 24-hour customer service window opens. Everything Syncron replies inside it is free.
If the lead arrived by clicking a Click-to-WhatsApp ad, Meta opens a 72-hour free entry point window instead — and every message type is free inside it.
When Syncron needs to reach someone after the window has closed — a reminder the day before a viewing, a nudge to a lead who went quiet, the weekly report to you — Meta requires a pre-approved message template, and those are billed. Most of what we send sits in the cheaper Utility category by design.
Meta charges by category, and Utility messages are roughly six times cheaper than Marketing ones. We deliberately built Syncron so that the overwhelming majority of what it sends falls into the free window or the cheap category.
| What it is | When it happens | Category |
|---|---|---|
| The qualification conversation Every question the AI asks, every reply it gives, and anything your agents type |
While the lead is talking to you | Free |
| Alerts and reminders Telling your agent a hot lead came in, reminding a buyer about a viewing, nudging someone who's gone quiet |
After the free window has closed | Utility |
| Re-engagement and reporting Bringing an older lead back into conversation, and your own performance summaries |
Scheduled, outside any window | Marketing |
Some of these go to you and your agents rather than to leads — an alert about a hot lead, or your own weekly summary. They still appear on your bill, because Meta charges per delivered message regardless of who receives it. We'll walk you through the full list of what gets sent, and when, during onboarding.
Put in your own numbers. This models the way Syncron really sends — not a generic message counter.
Indicative Malaysian rates as at August 2026. Meta sets these, changes them, and publishes the live card at whatsappbusiness.com. Malaysia has been billed in ringgit since April 2026. Always treat Meta's card as the truth, not this page.
An estimate, not a quote. Real usage moves with how many leads reply, how many book, and how quickly your agents step in — every time an agent replies inside the 24-hour window, that message is free.
Why the number is usually small: the expensive category is Marketing, and Syncron barely uses it. The work that wins you the deal — replying in seconds, asking the right questions, qualifying in the lead's own language — all happens inside the free window.
Meta requires a card attached to your WhatsApp Business account before it will deliver messages. We walk you through it during onboarding — it takes a few minutes, and it's the last step before going live.
Meta used to give 1,000 free conversations a month. That ended with the move to per-message pricing. What replaced it is better for you: the free windows above have no cap at all.
Meta has changed this model twice in two years. We'll tell you when it moves, but the live rate card at whatsappbusiness.com is always the authority — including this page.
Some platforms resell WhatsApp credit and take a margin. We don't. Meta bills you, you pay Meta, and you can see every message in your own Meta account.
